Location: Passaic, NJ 07055

Schedule: 3x12s (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated CT Tech to join our Radiology - Diagnostic department on a 13-week contract basis. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to patient care while working a consistent schedule of 3x12-hour shifts over the weekend. The ideal candidate will have experience in CT scanning, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and patient safety standards.
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition.
• Review and assess patient history and records to ensure accurate imaging.
• Administer contrast media as per the physician's orders and institutional protocols.
• Work closely with physicians and radiologists to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic results.
• Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures.
• Provide patient care and comfort during CT exams, explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including radiation protection and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with the radiology team to ensure seamless patient care and service delivery.

Qualifications:

• Certification in CT Technology (ARRT-CT or equivalent) required.
• Active New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist license.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in CT imaging, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of radiology imaging procedures and patient care.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot CT scanning equipment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
