Entry Level.
Entry-level role supporting Receiving operations, including unloading shipments, material inspection, data entry, inventory management, and warehouse organization. Provides backup support to Shipping.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience:
5 years’ experience in warehousing, shipping/receiving, or material handling
Prior warehouse experience in a similar industry preferred
Skills:
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Data entry and inventory system proficiency
Forklift operation
Ability to follow ISO procedures and safety standards
Unload incoming shipments per ISO work instructions and safety policies.
Verify product, lot numbers, quantities, and weights against Bill of Lading and purchase orders.
Inspect materials for damage and record findings.
Log small-package receipts and route to appropriate departments; provide packing slips to Purchasing.
Enter incoming materials into internal databases.
Print and apply inventory tags; place materials in designated warehouse locations.
Maintain inventory quarantine area.
Weigh and return unused production materials to proper locations.
Collect, weigh, and inventory scrap Gaylords.
Perform inventory accuracy tasks, including cycle counts.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and housekeeping standards.
Repair, repack, and relocate damaged inventory.
Communicate daily operational gaps to leadership.
Provide secondary Shipping support during overflow or absence.
