Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safety and security to our facility by performing duties both at the lobby desk and conducting outdoor patrols. This is a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage security systems, including surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems at the lobby desk.
• Greet and screen visitors, employees, and vendors to ensure proper identification and access control procedures are followed.
• Maintain a visible security presence, offering assistance and providing information as needed.
• Conduct routine outdoor patrols of the premises to monitor for any suspicious activity or safety hazards.
• Respond quickly to any incidents, emergencies, or alarms and report all findings.
• Enforce all security policies and procedures while ensuring a professional and courteous attitude toward everyone.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports on daily activities and any incidents.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and ensure the premises are secure at all times.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous security experience preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in stressful situations.
• Must be able to patrol both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
