Project Manager - Aluminum and Glass Railings
Gpac is seeking a Project Manager to install glass and aluminum balcony railings and other products across the nation. If you have experience installing, estimating, or working with glass or aluminum products in new construction or retrofit work, you will be a great candidate for this fast-paced job. You will work on some of the biggest multi- residential projects near your home as well as traveling to fast paced markets where we already have work. Your primary responsibility will be to manage our aluminum and glass railing projects. You will work out of your home office and travel throughout your region. All candidates should possess a positive team player attitude.
Responsibilities and Duties for Project Manager
Primary job responsibility will be to direct installation crews and interface with General Contractors on job sites. Requirements include 5 years' experience running Commercial Construction Projects. We are ideally seeking a candidate with the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, and abilities:
* Coordinate and supervise all installation activities. Direct all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications. Maintain installation schedules, identifies, and solve problems.
* Inspect installation and provide progress reports
* Approve installer invoices
* Schedule deliveries throughout the process
* Understand the project plans and specifications
* Understand the subcontractor contracted scope of work and perimeters
* Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other
employees
* Take progress images of the site daily and distribute to the project team
* Work with customer personnel daily to resolve issues, quality items, scheduling,
contract management, change order management and other job-related
coordination.
* Prepare, schedule, and supervise completion of a final punch list
* Promote job site safety, encourages safe work practices, and rectifies job
hazards immediately
* Ensure all company employees and contractors are adhering to safety policies
Qualifications and Skill for Project Manager
Education Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (Preferred)
Required Experience for Project Manager
* 5+ Years construction experience specifically working with aluminum and glass products (Preferred)
* 2+ Years field supervision experience (Preferred)
* OSHA 30 Certification
* Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, and Scheduling Software.
