About the Role We are seeking a Contract Project Manager to support a leading retail organization known for its large-scale operations and fast-paced environment. This role focuses on managing communications projects from initial planning through publishing across owned channels. You will work within a complex system, ensuring alignment and smooth coordination among multiple teams.
Job Description As a Project Manager, you will oversee timelines, facilitate collaboration, and maintain project documentation to ensure successful delivery. You will monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and keep stakeholders informed as priorities shift. Your ability to organize, adapt, and problem-solve will be essential to moving projects forward efficiently.
Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain cross-functional timelines, incorporating input from strategists, content managers, media relations, creative, and publishing teams.
- Monitor progress and adjust plans as priorities or publishing dates change.
- Facilitate collaboration across teams to ensure projects follow established processes.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, and deliverable tracking.
- Identify risks, resolve issues, and proactively communicate changes.
Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in project management within creative, communications, or marketing environments.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, or similar).
- Technical skills in communications, project management, and project management software.
- Ability to manage timelines effectively.
Preferred: - Experience with Monday.com.
- Practicing PMP certification.
