Job Responsibilities: + Process regular payroll for 15+ employees, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations + Prepare accurate payroll reports and maintain payroll documentation for auditing purposes. + Handle payroll adjustments, benefit contributions, and deductions with precision. + Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and resolve discrepancies promptly. + Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure flawless payroll operations. + Stay current on legal and regulatory updates affecting payroll processes Requirements + Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or Administrator + Proficiency in payroll software; experience with ADP, Paychex, etc. is preferred. + Strong understanding of payroll laws, compliance standards, and taxation policies. + Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and confidentiality. + Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage deadlines in a high-pressure setting. Preferred Skills: + Knowledge of report generation tools and database management. + Experience with multi-state payroll processing is a plus. + Professional certifications, such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), are highly desirable.
