As our practice grows, we’re looking for a part-time Associate Attorney to support our legal operations and help manage workflow. You will handle legal work in our core practice areas and provide oversight for two experienced paralegals, helping to ensure files move efficiently and the office runs smoothly. Draft and review estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, etc.)
Handle residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract to close
Draft and file business formation documents; advise clients on entity structure
Supervise paralegals and assist with task delegation and workflow oversight
Conduct client consultations
Support office operations with a focus on legal efficiency and file management
Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals and support staff

Qualifications:

Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Illinois
3+ years of experience in estate planning, real estate, and business law preferred
Strong drafting and organizational skills
Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
Prior experience supervising support staff is a plus
Reliable and responsive communication is essential
