Fahrenheit is partnering with our client, the Lester Group, to hire several Outside Sales Representatives for their building supply division. This position is based in Lynchburg, VA, however, we will consider candidates who can commute to the region as needed.

Job Summary:

As an Outside Sales Representative at Lester Building Supply, you will play a vital role in driving sales and building lasting relationships with our valued customers. From compiling sales leads to demonstrating product features and closing deals, you'll be at the forefront of our business operations.

Locations:

The Lester Group is hiring Outside Sales Representatives across its five locations in Virginia – Christiansburg/Blacksburg, Fredericksburg, Lynchburg, Manassas, Martinsville, and Williamsburg . Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and cultivate prospective customers through various channels such as business directories, industry ads, trade shows, internet websites, and other sources.
• Communicate with customers and prospective customers to understand their product needs. Identifies and suggests products to meet those needs.
• Conduct sales visits and demonstrations to existing and prospective customers.
• Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and prepare sales contracts.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience from purchase to delivery.
• Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management and resolves issues that may arise before, during, and after sale.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions including calls, orders, closed sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends and participate in relevant trade shows and associations.
• Strong dedication to customer service.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Previous sales experience preferred
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Strong time management skills and ability to multitask
• Ability to understand and interpret technical specifications
• Proficiency in basic algebra, geometry, and blueprint reading
