Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Suburban Medical & Wellness Center (Hanover Park, IL)

Suburban Medical & Wellness Center is seeking a highly skilled and reliable Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our imaging team at our Hanover Park location. This is an excellent opportunity for a technologist looking for a flexible, low-stress schedule with strong compensation and a supportive clinical environment.
Position Highlights

Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures including SPECT, whole-body imaging, and applicable cardiac studies
Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety and regulatory standards
Maintain accurate QC logs and ensure compliance with ALARA and radiation safety protocols
Assist in patient education, preparation, and comfort throughout procedures
Work closely with physicians to ensure high-quality imaging and timely reporting
Support hot lab operations including dose calibration, equipment checks, and inventory management
Qualifications
Current certification by ARRT(N) or NMTCB required
Illinois state license or eligibility
Current BLS certification
Strong understanding of radiation safety and nuclear medicine physics
