Community Bank Seeking Loan Officer SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Loan Officer is expected to collect and prepare all materials needed to secure a loan. They are also responsible for reviewing applications. They will be expected to provide quality customer service throughout the entire loan process. They may also be expected to learn other aspects of the office such as opening new accounts and daily transactions to assist when needed. Experience is preferred. PRIMARY JOB DUTIES: Seeks out, attracts, and obtains business from contacts in the community to help drive new loan and deposit business to the bank Meets with and gathers information from customers and potential customers when a loan is requested Verifies the information provided on applications to obtain more information if missing data or mistakes are present Communicates with customers to help them choose the best mortgage loan they can afford Collects data from customers, such as their assets, salaries, debts and employment status Reviews file documentation for missing or erroneous information Verifies information about applicant history with credit bureaus and other agencies so the lender can approve or deny the loan Remains aware of loan application deadlines and informs customers about them HOURS: The applicant must be able to work the hours listed below. Schedule may vary within the listed hours of operation. Addition hours may be required for training, meetings or afterhours events when applicable. Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:00 pm Friday 8:00am - 5:00 pmLOCATION: The primary location for this position is 2009 Scottsville Road Bowling Green, KY 42104.
