The Moda Wellness Clinic is opening Fall 2025. Training for all positions will begin on October 22 . Located in the Water Tower Building of Oregon's John's Landing neighborhood, Moda Wellness is offering its patients curated, future forward care through an integrated approach that will help our patients feel, live and look their best.

 

Major Purpose

The Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) supports the holistic mission of the Moda Wellness Clinic (MWC) by providing therapeutic massage and bodywork services tailored to each client’s individual needs. In addition to traditional massage therapy, this role contributes to smooth clinic operations by assisting with light administrative and operational tasks. Services are delivered as part of the clinic’s integrative care model, in close collaboration with other MWC providers to ensure an exceptional client experience.

  This is a part-time on-site position. 

 

Pay Range

$40.04 - $55.05 hourly, depending on experience. Actual pay is based on qualifications. Applicants who do not exceed the minimum qualifications will only be eligible for the low end of the pay range.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Perform customized therapeutic massage based on client needs and wellness goals.
  2. Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness best practices.
  3. Collaborate with clinic staff to develop client-centered treatment plans.
  4. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), adhering to clinic standards.
  5. Ensure treatment rooms and common areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
  6. Support clinic staff with light administrative or operational tasks.
  7. Comply with all hygiene, safety, and privacy protocols.
  8. Develop a working knowledge of all clinic services and offerings.
  9. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and stay informed on developments in massage therapy and bodywork technologies.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Proficiency Requirements

  1. Current Oregon license as a Licensed Massage Therapist.
  2. Minimum of 2 years' massage therapy experience, preferably with an existing client base.
  3. Proficient in at least two massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, or sports massage.
  4. Certification in Endermologie is a plus; experience with Endermologie or similar body contouring modalities preferred.
  5. Strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic massage practices.
  6. Prior experience in a medical spa, wellness clinic, or integrative care setting.
  7. Interest in functional, integrative, or wellness-based approaches to client care.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Basic computer skills; able to learn clinic’s EHR system (NextTech).
  10. Current CPR/BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire).
  11. Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with wellness clinic standards.

Working Conditions & Contact with Others

  • Clinic environment with prolonged periods of standing, reaching, and repetitive movement. May involve bending, kneeling, or lifting up to 25 lbs. to support treatment preparation. Exposure to clinical products is expected. Schedule may require work in excess of standard hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet business needs. Must be comfortable working in both traditional and holistic medical environments, supporting integrative care models. 
  • Internally with clinic staff and various Moda departments. Externally with patients, clients, vendors, and product representatives.
