Job Title: Healthcare Call Center Representative (Remote – Tri-State Area)

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Healthcare Call Center Representative to join our client to support members with healthcare benefits inquiries and deliver outstanding customer service. This role involves managing a high volume of inbound calls, assisting members with eligibility and benefit questions, and ensuring timely resolution of concerns. Based in the tri-state area (PA, NJ, DE), this position is primarily remote, with mandatory onsite training in Philadelphia and occasional onsite requirements. This is a contract opportunity with strong potential for growth into more complex responsibilities.

Compensation:
$21.95/hour

Work Schedule:
Training: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM – 5:00 PM EST for 3–4 weeks (including one fully onsite week in Philadelphia).
Regular Schedule: Call center operates 7 days a week, 8:00 AM – 8:15 PM. Candidates must be flexible to work any 8-hour shift, including evenings and at least one weekend day per week.

Key Responsibilities of the Healthcare Call Center Representative:
• Respond to incoming calls with professionalism, addressing member questions related to eligibility, benefits, and healthcare resources.
• Support members with account updates, ID requests, appointment scheduling, and navigating online self-service tools.
• Document call details accurately, escalate complex issues appropriately, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve concerns.
• Adhere to schedule requirements, performance metrics, and quality standards while managing 35–50+ calls per day.
• Participate in training and coaching to advance toward higher-level call handling and career progression.

Qualifications and Skills for the Healthcare Call Center Representative:
• Previous customer service experience in a phone-based environment is required; call center background strongly preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, insurance, or medical claims environments is a plus.
• Strong communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills with the ability to remain empathetic and patient.
• Tech-savvy, comfortable working across multiple systems, and able to learn new tools quickly.
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven setting.
