A leading health insurance provider and one of the nation's top rated places to work, is looking to build a role around a talented Group Underwriter. This is a unique opportunity where you get exposure to working alongside the executive suite. My client is looking for someone with a strong technical acumen with equally strong inter-personnel skills to jump in and hit the ground running, and really take this team to the next level.

What you'll be responsible for…

• Working on end-to-end underwriting cases for Small Group and Large Group
• Completing pre-reviews on new groups and rate reviews on renewals
• Organizing timelines effectively in order to meet deadlines

What you'll need to be successful...

• 4+ years of underwriting experience, ideally working with Large Group, Small Group, or Stop-Loss Underwriting
• Strong technical skills ad ability to train and mentor junior underwriters
• Experience in stop-loss underwriting is a plus!
