ENCHANTED FOREST WATER SAFARI 

Scope:

Responsible for the overall cleanliness, appearance & maintenance of the entire park (paths, lawns, trash cans, etc.). Also responsible for a variety of odd jobs as they arise, as well as performing valuable guest relations work. Assists with lunch relief and breaks in water & amusement ride areas of the park, therefore must complete a SWAFR course (Shallow Water Rescue Training, CPR & First Aid). This is a physical position, involving continuous walking and working outdoors in all types of weather conditions for the entire shift. Heavy lifting may be required. There is a high exposure to guests in the form of answering questions about EFWS, taking family pictures, and offering assistance whenever necessary. May be asked to assist the other departments, as needed, based on staffing.

Essential Duties:

• Follow strict guidelines regarding safety and emergency procedures
• Maintain the cleanliness of the park grounds, including paths, parking lots and lawns
• Know and enforce all safety policies, rules and regulations for each ride when providing breaks
• Exert up to 35 pounds of force to lift, push, pull, carry or otherwise move objects
• Perform work safely in accordance with departmental safety procedures
• Safely drives and maneuvers a golf cart
• Greet guests and team members in a professional and friendly manner

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Exhibit a friendly, cooperative & professional demeanor
• Must be safety conscious
• Must be well groomed, self-disciplined & willing to comply with uniform guidelines
• Able to interact professionally with a diverse group of people
• Must be able to move quickly & walk for long periods of time
• Courtesy, alertness & a positive attitude are necessary
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision & be capable of handling large amounts of responsibility
• Possess initiative & a sincere desire to work hard to maintain EFWS's reputation for cleanliness
• Must be familiar with what is offered in different areas of the park, including guest services, rides, shops, games & food, in order to direct our guests.
