Position Overview:
The Document Control Specialist will be responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining the integrity of company documentation and digital records. This remote position is ideal for someone who thrives in a paperless, process-driven environment and can work independently while maintaining consistent communication with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and maintain company records, ensuring accurate version control and accessibility.
Review, format, and distribute internal and external documents in a timely and compliant manner.
Develop and enforce document control procedures and workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper documentation and compliance standards are met.
Safeguard sensitive files and ensure appropriate access levels are maintained, especially in remote storage platforms.
Maintain an efficient and searchable filing system for digital records, including backups for remote accessibility.
Participate in audits and assist in compiling necessary documentation.
Support ongoing digital transformation efforts to enhance remote document handling capabilities.
Requirements:
Proven experience in document control, records management, or related administrative roles.
Proficiency in using document management systems (DMS) and cloud-based storage tools.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and discretion with sensitive information.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a remote work environment with minimal supervision.
