Director of Golf
Country Club in Seal Beach, California is looking for a Director of Golf.
Position Overview:
The Director of Golf is responsible for overseeing all aspects of golf operations at the club, ensuring an exceptional member experience and the promotion of the game. Responsibilities include managing the golf department’s budget, sales plan, and supervising the golf operations team. Develop and implement engaging golf clinics, execute tournaments and special golf events, and foster a culture of professionalism and growth within the department.
Requirements
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional golf experience, with a strong focus on customer service.
• PGA/LPGA Professional Certification.
Preferred:
• A college degree.
• Proven experience with direct financial oversight and budget management.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidentiality and sensitive employee matters with discretion and professionalism.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest level of ethical work standards.
