Job Description

The CRANE OPERATOR performs the various loadings of material as well as any other handling of equipment, requiring the use of his machine. Then proceeds to the various weighing’s of material which enters or leaves the yard.

• Receiving the metal and deposit it in the appropriate place;
• Unloading the trucks and check the quality of the stock;
• Transporting containers of non-ferrous material;
• Loading ferrous products for customers;
• Performing hardware identification tests using appropriate products or magnets;
• Taking inventory of the material in stock according to the established schedule;
• Recording on his report, the weights of material going in and going out the site;
• Lubricating, if necessary, the different parts of the machine that require lubrication;
• Washing the machine when required.

Qualifications

To join our team:

• Ability to drive and operate a heavy vehicle;
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
