Ameritex is seeking a dependable individual to join our team as a CNC Helper Level 1 – General Shop

Labor. This entry-level position focuses on material handling, organization, and cleaning tasks to

support our CNC, laser, and press brake operations. This role is designed for those looking to start a

career in advanced manufacturing.

We are looking for people with hustle – individuals who work hard, stay busy, and take initiative without

waiting to be told.

Core Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, scrap, and finished parts around CNC and laser work areas.
• Maintain organization of storage racks, pallets, and tool areas.
• Perform shop cleaning tasks including sweeping, scrap removal, and floor upkeep.
• Assist with packaging, staging, and palletizing parts.
• Transport fixtures, tooling, and consumables to designated machine areas.
• Support operators by preparing workstations and clearing completed jobs.
• Follow safety rules and handling procedures for heavy material.
• Must follow all safety rules, including required PPE for the work area, and be able to safely lift 50+ lbs repeatedly.

Skills & Requirements

• Willingness to do physical labor in a production environment.
• Ability to safely lift 50+ lbs repeatedly.
• Dependable attendance and safety awareness.
• No experience required; forklift cert a plus.

Advancement Path

• Demonstrate reliability, safety, and willingness to learn.
• After 6+ months, eligible for CNC Helper Level 2 apprenticeship.

Compensation: $15–$17/hr
