Job Summary:


This Change Management Consultant position requires a hybrid work model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) in Ontario, Canada. The role involves providing expert advice and coaching to organizations on change management principles and methodologies. Responsibilities encompass developing and implementing change strategies, leading communication and stakeholder engagement efforts, mitigating risks, and tracking adoption and proficiency. The ideal candidate possesses strong interpersonal, communication, and project management skills, along with a proven track record in organizational change management.

Location: Ontario, Canada

Responsibilities:

- Provide expertise, consultative advice, guidance, and coaching on change management.
- Enhance leader and team capabilities in understanding and managing change impact.
- Support leaders and stakeholders as change champions.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other specialists.
- Develop and implement change management strategies, plans, and frameworks.
- Develop and implement communication plans, sponsor roadmaps, and stakeholder assessments.
- Lead stakeholder management and engagement.
- Align change management activities with stakeholders to remove barriers.
- Ensure client and stakeholder engagement throughout the change process.
- Articulate the purpose of change to impacted stakeholders.
- Build consensus among stakeholders on proposed changes.
- Identify and mitigate people-side risks and resistance.
- Conduct change readiness assessments and present findings.
- Track adoption, utilization, and proficiency of changes.
- Develop strategies to sustain change benefits.


Required Skills & Certifications:

- Organizational change management expertise (industry standards, best practices, methodologies, tools).
- Experience developing training, communication, and change management strategies and plans.
- Stakeholder engagement skills (ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders).


Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Change impact assessment experience.
- Experience leading medium to large transformational change projects.
- Experience applying structured change management methodologies.
- Stakeholder analysis experience.
- Experience developing actionable change management plans.
- Experience defining and measuring success metrics and monitoring change progress.
- Process management experience.
- Experience coordinating with other subject matter experts (communications, training, HR).
- Ability to influence others at all organizational levels.
