What you need to know:

A SCUP Business Change Partner is a key role responsible to support implementation of Standard Commercial Underwriting Platform. SCUP Business Change Partner is the primary contact between SCUP Product organization and the business unit driving requirements and designs alignment between business unit and SCUP and implementation of SCUP driving business benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as key liaison between SCUP Product and Business during initial on-boarding, requirements and design alignment and through to implementation stage.
  • Drive Business readiness activities prior to Business starting SCUP implementation.
  • Be the single point of contact and voice of the Business throughout SCUP implementation.
  • Co-operate with Business and IT leaders to drive enhancements of SCUP Product.
  • Support implementation of SCUP vision and roadmap aligned with SCUP North Star vision and business priorities.
  • Understand the key challenges that sponsor and key stakeholders face.
  • Provides leadership guidance, makes recommendations, and collaborates with business to ensure solutions meets the business needs on a complex project or program
  • Manage and provide program/project leadership over key business change efforts for the company.
  • Work with stakeholders from across the organization (senior and junior) to develop solutions and ideas for identified business challenges. Apply various solution development techniques through facilitated workshops, direct engagement sessions, etc. to transform process, people, organizational design, roles, and technology.


Qualifications:

  • Ten plus years of relevant experience required including 5+ years experience in insurance commercial underwriting processes, data, controls, and technology, and understanding of best practices around these capabilities.
  • Excited with change and has successful track record in supporting change and transformation opportunities to enhance the customer experience in complex environments.
  • Metric oriented, with a track record of delivering value add solutions, data driven decision maker who utilizes data to direct decision making.
  • Must be proactive in managing issues by anticipating the outcome of the process and ensuring all necessary steps have been taken.
  • Ability to influence and partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on Transformation and Continuous Improvement vision and objectives.
  • Experience working across functional, organizational and business boundaries, ensuring the entire process delivers the desired service level standard.
  • Demonstrated excellent problem solving abilities, in a practical way, to balance between addressing root cause and introducing changes in fast order.
  • Ability to analyze data, determine root cause, and provide and/or develop an appropriate solution for resolution.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
