Job Description

Reports to: General Crafts Supervisor.

School/Department: MTC.

Pay Grade: Manual Trades/MT6 Work.

Days: 261.

Primary Purpose:

Under general supervision: maintain, repair, and install in all trade areas including but not limited to carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, roofing, masonry and flooring. Work within designated time frame to insure assigned District Building is in excellent operating condition.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Prefer ability to perform in all trade areas.
• May be required to successfully complete job ability testing State of Texas Maintenance Electrician License or Apprentice Electrician License.
• Must have ability to clear a criminal background check along with a drug test administered upon employment and be subject to random drug testing.
