Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Austin, Texas. Candidates must be able to work from our Austin office.

The Brand Designer will play a key role in developing and executing cohesive brand strategies that align with UpSpring's goals. This position focuses on creating and managing visual branding, packaging, and promotional materials across multiple platforms. From concept to production, the Brand Designer will produce high-quality content for social media, websites, and trade shows, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and maintaining high visual standards to drive brand growth.

Support And Execute Brand Strategies

  • Collaborate with the management team to implement cohesive brand visual strategies across all platforms.
  • Ensure deliverables align with strategic goals and meet established timelines.

Packaging And Promotional Design

  • Create and maintain packaging designs that adhere to brand standards and market trends.
  • Execute packaging projects from concept to production, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Design digital content, spec sheets, catalogs, brochures, and materials for trade shows, retail promotions, and sales pitch materials.
  • Prepare and release print-ready files for various formats.

Content Creation And Social Media Management

  • Design and manage engaging content for social media, websites, and email newsletters in alignment with provided briefs and company branding.
  • Create and edit graphics and videos, including user-generated content (UGC), and retouch photos as needed.
  • Enhance the brand’s social media presence and visual performance on retailers' digital platforms .

Brand Asset Management

  • Organize, manage, and maintain all brand assets, including packaging files, social media designs, and promotional materials.
  • Manage asset sharing with internal teams and third-party collaborators to ensure seamless workflows and consistency.

Team Collaboration

  • Work with sales, supply chain, and product development teams to support product launches and updates.
  • Ensure all designs and promotional materials comply with FDA labeling guidelines and FTC advertising regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in design or advertising.
  • 3+ years of experience in design or a related field, with at least 2 years focused on the CPG, health and wellness industry.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, with particular emphasis on PowerPoint.
  • Strong proficiency in graphic design and video creation softwares, email marketing platforms and CMS such as Shopify.
  • Ability to maintain high visual standards and quality control over marketing materials.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferred: Experience working in both B2C and B2B environments, with a strong understanding of the unique design and marketing needs for each.
