Segal McCambridge , a nationally recognized litigation firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our General Liability Defense Practice Group in our Houston office . Our practice includes a wide range of matters— personal injury, premises liability, construction defect, product liability, trucking/transportation, professional liability, and more.

This is an outstanding opportunity for attorneys who want to sharpen their litigation skills, gain hands-on case management experience, and work closely with highly respected trial lawyers who value mentorship, collaboration, and professional development.

This role offers a hybrid schedule with the flexibility to balance remote work and in-office collaboration.

What You’ll Do

As an associate at Segal McCambridge, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Manage your own case load with partner oversight and mentorship.
• Draft and argue motions, conduct depositions, and handle discovery.
• Appear in court and play an active role in trials.
• Work with sophisticated clients on complex, high-stakes matters.

You’ll be part of a supportive, team-oriented environment where initiative is encouraged and success is recognized.

What We’re Looking For

• Active license to practice law in Texas
• 2+ years of civil litigation experience on the defense side
• Strong skills in legal research, writing, motion practice, and discovery
• Experience handling depositions and other key litigation activities
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and eagerness to grow
