Description: Looking for a fulfilling career as a Certified Nursing Assistant? Griswold Home Care of Fargo is seeking a reliable and caring CNA who takes pride in their work and has a strong desire to learn and grow. The ideal CNA applicant will possess at least 6 months of experience providing personal or companion care in a home setting. If you're passionate about caregiving and interested in opportunities for advancement, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and personal care to elderly clients
- Provide skilled cares to clients
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, bathing, and dressing
- Light housekeeping, meal prep and ensure a safe home environment for the client
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior
- Ability to read and follow a care plan while maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of a client’s care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure clients receive the best possible care
Requirements:
- Experience caring for a client or family member, current CNA or HHA certification preferred
- Weekend avalibility
- Compassionate and caring personality
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT / CNA
As a Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA, you are proud to help seniors live their best lives within the places they love most. Your assistance with daily tasks allows our clients to live as independently as possible. They appreciate your positive attitude as you competently assess what needs to be done. Whether you’re performing light housekeeping duties, preparing meals, or grocery shopping, you approach each job with cheerful efficiency.
On occasion, you provide caregiving services to clients with cognitive impairments or dementia. Always patient and kind, you assist with non-medical tasks such as feeding and bathing. Your respectful approach allows clients to maintain their dignity as you help them maintain proper personal hygiene.
Attentive to detail, you keep a log of the duties you perform during your shift. You submit accurate documentation to ensure consistent elderly care. Reliable and conscientious, you check in with the office often, providing timely updates regarding the needs of your clients. At the end of each day, you feel a sense of pride knowing that you make a difference in the lives of seniors!
WORK SCHEDULE
This part-time caregiving position has flexible hours. Depending on the needs of our clients, there are opportunities for day, night or overnight shifts. Clients may receive as little as 4 hours of care, while others require 24-hour care.
