Description Are you an experienced UX Researcher looking for flexible, impactful work? Our client, a leading name in the automotive industry, is seeking a part-time UX Researcher to support usability testing and user insights for their in-store app experience. This is a unique opportunity to shape tools used by store staff across company store locations and collaborate directly with product owners and designers. What You'll Do + Conduct usability testing in stores with store staff and commercial users + Collaborate closely with product owners and designers (some based in Mexico) + Identify stakeholder priorities and vet participants for testing + Observe and document usability protocols + Analyze findings and deliver stakeholder-ready reports + Support 2 rounds of testing post-design iterations + Potentially train stakeholders on research best practices + Travel to stores for 1-2 day visits, with ~20 user interviews per round + Use tools like Teams, Excel, Word, MySoft for documentation and communication + Set up remote research questions when travel isn't feasible Requirements What We're Looking For + 5+ years of UX Research experience + Strong maturity and stakeholder engagement skills + Experience in retail or field-based usability testing + Ability to work on-demand with flexible scheduling + Local or regional availability for store visits + Comfortable working independently and collaboratively Flexible schedule; ideal for professionals seeking part-time or supplemental work Long-term engagement: 6 months to 1 year on retainer Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
