Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely recovery operations. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various tow truck types, including flatbeds. The Tow Truck Driver will play a vital role in assisting customers with vehicle recoveries and roadside assistance, maintaining safety standards at all times.

Duties:

• Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other specialized vehicles, to recover and transport vehicles efficiently and safely.
• Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or winches.
• Conduct basic automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to determine the best recovery approach.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients and resolving conflicts professionally.
• Perform routine inspections of tow truck equipment to ensure safety and operational readiness.
• Assist with vehicle repairs or minor mechanical troubleshooting when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of all recoveries, loads, and deliveries.
• Follow all safety protocols during towing operations to prevent accidents or injuries.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with automotive diagnostics, automotive repair, and mechanical knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with manual transmissions and automotive systems such as flatbeds and tow trucks.
• Strong driving skills with experience operating heavy-duty vehicles in various conditions.
• Excellent conflict management and customer service skills to handle challenging situations professionally.
• Ability to load & unload vehicles safely using appropriate equipment.
• Prior mechanic experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to safety standards and company policies.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks as required.
