Title : Title Operations Specialist
Location: Coraopolis, PA (fully on-site)
The Title Operations Specialist is an integral part of the title operations team, contributing to the day-to-day execution of operational tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the organization. This role involves collaboration with team members, following established procedures, and actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
As a dynamic and resourceful professional, we will rely on you to perform the following duties: - Respond to incoming phone calls and e-mails.
- Assign title search orders to 3rd party title search vendors.
- Actively monitor open work in progress for delinquent orders.
- Communicate with vendors and document notes on the status of open title orders.
- Act as the main contact on a day-to-day level with vendors.
- Assist in processing completed title reports through company operating system.
- Participate in department meetings to improve operating process.
- Maintain a working knowledge of company and department policies and procedures.
- Maintain and update current vendor information, including fees, coverage area, service provided, workload limits, rating, and contact information.
- Complete new vendor set up of all title and recording vendor contracts.
- Identify and monitor vendor performance and recommend solutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements: - Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience in the title industry preferred.
- Ability to follow all company procedures and policies including meeting the company customer service expectations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of title insurance, regulatory guidelines, legal documents, and real property law.
- High-level customer service and relationship management skills.
- Ability to productively interact with peers, customers, and management.
- Strong time management, organizational, and planning skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Maintains flexible hours.
