Salary: 67,600 - 122,200 USD per year Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience OR Master's Degree and 0 years of experience. Equivalent experience may be substituted (4 years work experience or Associate's Degree plus 2 years of experience can be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree).
• Degree in computer science, Information systems, Engineering, business, or a related scientific or technical discipline.
• Experience in requirements analysis, design, coding methodologies, documentation standards, configuration management, DoD software policies, and DoD test and evaluation requirements; familiarity with real-time operating systems, distributed systems, modeling and simulation, database design and management, and resource utilization assessment.
• Experience with agile software development processes and systems engineering best practices.
• Ability to track, analyze, and communicate commercial technology trends and recommendations to a non-technical audience.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• An active secret level security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance is required.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage systems level requirements, operational systems concepts, originate design concepts, and perform systems level integration and test for highly complex systems.
• Interact with systems users to translate their requirements into systems, hardware, and software specifications and designs.
• Participate in the development of test strategies.
• Solve engineering problems in the functional area to which assigned.
• Plan and perform engineering research, design development, and other assignments according to design, engineering, and customer specifications.
• Implement safeguard measures in line with security and information assurance procedures to prevent damage and unauthorized modification and disclosure.
