Job Description

We are now accepting resumes/applications for an  EXPERIENCED Class A CDL Hazmat Drivers. This is seasonal positions for Hurricane Relief Work. Duties/Responsibilities may/may not be limited to the following:
  Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a tanker truck to transport liquid or hazardous materials
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, such as a forklift or pump
• Ensure proper handling and storage of materials during transportation
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections
• Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols

Skills:

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with tanker endorsement
• Proven experience as a tanker driver or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of operating and maneuvering large vehicles, such as tractor-trailers
• Familiarity with dump trucks, flatbeds, or other types of freight vehicles is a plus
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
• Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents
• Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is preferred
• Ability to follow directions and navigate routes efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
