Sr. Bio-Process Associate Pharma (Onsite Devens, MA)
We are seeking a Sr. Bioprocess Associate for a global pharmaceutical company. You will be responsible for operating control systems and processes in Biotechnology Pilot Plants.
This is a 40-hour per-week, 6-month contract (extensions possible), 100% onsite role in Devens, MA.
Work Schedule: 2nd Shift 5 pm- 5 am, and overtime is required as needed.
Shift rotation: 3 days on (Sat, Sun, Mon), 2 days off (Tues, Wed), 2 days on (Thurs, Fri), 3 days off (Sat to Mon)
This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Responsibilities:
Operates control systems and processes in Biotechnology Pilot Plants.
Prepares process buffers and reagents.
Cleans equipment and maintain area in clean and orderly fashion.
Recognizes and reports safety, maintenance and operational variances to area management. Communicates status of operations to area management in a timely manner.
Follows detailed SOP's and batch records.
Ensures compliance with cGMP and safety requirements. Maintains files, records and equipment.
Records data, logs activities, and monitors processes. Achieves and maintains proficiency through training.
Requirements:
5+ years of process operations experience in a Pharma company
Prior job-related experience in operating control systems and processes in a Biotechnology Plant with a demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
Experience following and documenting written instructions
Familiarity with cGMP clean room operations, preferred
High school diploma
A.A.S. or B.S. degree, preferred.
