As a Qualcomm
Software Engineering Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to push the boundaries of what exists and help establish the new standards for tomorrow. You will innovate as an equal contributor on teams of world-class engineers to develop, implement, and maintain software for the most complex wireless devices in the industry today. You will leverage your computer science or engineering degree to make an immediate impact on the software development Life cycle of one of Qualcomm’s numerous software technologies.
Minimum Qualifications - Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
- Must be available for 11 – 14 (preferred 12 – 14) weeks during Summer 2025 (May-September) with a graduation date of December 2025 or later
- 1+ years’ academic experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Python, etc.
Successful candidates will have experience in one or more of the following Software Engineering technical tracks: Software Development - Development experience in Python, Java, C#, PHP, Web (Flask, ASP.NET, Django, etc.)
- HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, ReactJS, Vue.js, AngularJS
- SQL Server, MongoDB or related NoSQL databases
- Networking, SW design, ML, C/C++
- Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
IT Engineering - Experience with Automation Tools Development, CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins), Source Control Management, Software Integration, Scripting, and working in a DevOps Environment, Ansible
- Knowledge of IT Infrastructure
- Python Web Development

Pay Range $17.00 - $98.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
