About this role:
Our Client is hiring a Fullstack Engineer to be our third engineering hire, working directly with the CTO to rapidly ship ambitious product features in a fast-paced, 0-to-1 environment. You'll help transform high-level ideas and LLM prompts into fully functional peer-to-peer marketplace components, build automations that eliminate operational complexity for customers, and integrate data from across the public web, our proprietary systems, and third-party APIs. They're looking for someone who thrives on identifying inefficiencies and fixing them quickly, and who loves tackling open-ended product challenges with urgency and autonomy.
The ideal candidate has
2+ years of full-stack experience
(Python, Django, React), is Bay Area-based
(in-office 2+ days/week), and enjoys thinking at the intersection of engineering, product, and design. You should be comfortable with ambiguity, passionate about online communities and the creator economy, and excited to join a small team where you'll own meaningful chunks of the product. Engineers who have built side projects, contributed to open source, or launched their own tools will feel especially at home here.
