ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Social Media Manager, you will play a key role in shaping our online presence by creating, distributing, and analyzing engaging content across various social media platforms. You will be responsible for managing a well-organized content calendar, making strategic recommendations based on social media trends, providing project briefs, responding to followers, and showcasing your exceptional copywriting skills. Your contributions will help promote our clients' brands effectively while ensuring adherence to best practices on each platform.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Social Network Management

Utilize your hands-on experience in social media to enhance brand awareness and manage community engagement across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X, Threads, and TikTok.
Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily, including original text, photos, videos, and news.
Build and optimize new social accounts to meet clients' goals.
Manage social accounts professionally and responsibly for both our agency and clients.
Engage with followers, respond to inquiries promptly, and monitor user-generated content in line with company policies.
Demonstrate strong proofreading and written communication skills.
Adjust your writing style to match each client's brand voice and terminology.
Create, manage, and adapt content calendars.

Social Strategy Reporting

Assist in reporting on the strategy, delivery, and optimization of social media campaigns for both our agency and clients.
Collaborate with the Senior Content Strategist to understand research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification that align with clients' business objectives.
Actively research and contribute strategic ideas that leverage the strengths of each platform, including Facebook, X, Instagram, Threads, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, and Tumblr.
Support the Senior Content Strategist in tracking objectives and measuring ROI.
Monitor and report on social media output to evaluate effectiveness and optimize performance.

Social Calendar Planning & Implementation

Develop and implement a comprehensive social media marketing plan and editorial calendar.
Strategize and schedule online content production.
Analyze monthly data from Google Analytics and social media metrics, recommending improvements and identifying growth opportunities.

Public Relations & Networking

Assist in identifying new media opportunities and establishing relationships with social media influencers.

Internal & External Collaboration

Follow brand guidelines and best practices while adhering to budget and timeline constraints.
Incorporate client feedback to refine projects while maintaining overall social strategy.
Collaborate closely with project-related departments, including Creative, to deliver impactful and high-quality posts.

Professional Drive & Reliability

Be a self-starter and quick learner who can deliver work on time and within scope.
Bring innovative, industry-leading ideas to the table.

WHAT YOU HAVE:

A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, English Literature, Creative Writing, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in an agency or client-based setting.
Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Strong teamwork skills with a keen interest in cross-departmental collaboration.
Professional, personable, self-motivated, and flexible demeanor.
High energy and creativity, coupled with a sense of humor.
A blend of analytical and creative skills.
Ability to work independently under pressure across multiple projects and client needs.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and adaptability to change.
Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube) and social media management tools (e.g., Sprout).
