Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified Social Media and Content Fellowship(s) to join our team. As the Social Media and Content Fellow you will play a critical role in shaping and executing the strategy for short text-based content across these platforms, with a focus on driving announcements, maximizing reach, and fostering engagement. 

We are looking for the following social media and content fellows: 

• Platform Manager: X, Threads, Facebook
• Platform Manager: Truth Social
• Platform Manager: LinkedIn

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and copy-edit social media posts daily and/or batched for scheduling
• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the organization's presence on the different platform groupings that align with overall objectives and messaging.
• Leverage short text-based content to drive messaging, and maximize visibility, and engagement on platforms.
• Collaborate with the Social Media Coordinator, the Social Engagement Intern, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency across platforms.
• Oversee the organization's channels, including content scheduling, and audience engagement strategies to maximize reach and impact.
• Drive engagement efforts by fostering meaningful interactions with supporters, responding to DMs and messages, and leveraging platform-specific features such as polls, Q&A sessions, etc.
• Implement strategies to grow the campaign's following and increase reach, including strategic partnerships and cross-platform promotion.
• Stay on top of emerging trends, best practices, and new features on different channels to proactively integrate them into the organization's strategy.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience producing social media content with a focus on vertical formats 
• Availability to produce a minimum of 3 posts per day 
• Experience editing videos for social platforms or social writing skills depending on the platform 
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team or crew
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
