Senior/ Tax Accountant

My client is a dynamic CPA firm located in Sarasota, FL, dedicated to providing a wide range of tax and financial services to small and medium-sized businesses across various industries. We serve clients in real estate, professional services, medical, and manufacturing sectors, as well as high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates. Position Overview: I am seeking an experienced Tax Accountant/ Senior Accountant who is passionate about delivering exceptional service to clients in a less stressful, more comfortable work setting. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to continuously expand their skills and contribute to a growing firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review tax returns for businesses, individuals, and trusts/estates
Provide consulting, tax planning, and compliance services
Research and advise on complex tax issues
Manage multiple client engagements effectively
Mentor and coach junior staff members
Contribute to the improvement of internal tax processes and procedures
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
CPA certification
7-10 years of tax experience in a public accounting firm
Expertise in individual and business tax returns, with a strong understanding of accounting and trial balance entries
Excellent client relationship management skills
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and time management abilities
Experience with Ultra Tax & Lacerte is a plus
Compilation and review experience is advantageous
