Senior Tax Accountant
Coral Gables, Florida
$75,000 – $100,000
My client is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to manage and review a variety of tax projects, ensuring high-quality service and deliverables for their clients. This role requires strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills to ensure the timely and efficient completion of tax assignments.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and nonprofit organizations.
Conduct tax planning and projections to support client needs.
Perform tax research and resolve issues, including correspondence with tax authorities.
Manage client information requests and ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
Ensure compliance with filing deadlines for federal, state, and local tax returns.
Maintain high quality standards throughout the tax process.
Support special tax projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
2-3+ years of relevant experience in public accounting.
Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
Proficient in various software applications, including Adobe, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Strong research, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
Attention to detail with strong organizational and planning skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
