Position Title: Senior SharePoint Developer

Position Type: Direct Hire

Position Location: Bethesda, MD (onsite)

TS/SCI (CI Poly)

Responsibilities:

Provide SharePoint 2016 and Online Office 365 development support for Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) solutions that often use client-side scripting modalities, including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Support SharePoint server migration activities.

Apply expertise and creativity in optimizing the user interface for SharePoint-based solutions.

Apply knowledge of SharePoint capabilities to recommend technical solutions that accommodate functional requirements, considering development best practices, cost, and timeline.

Skills:

8+ years of experience with developing OOTB solutions for SharePoint 2013.
5+ years of experience with creating or customizing SharePoint site collections, sites, lists or libraries, workflows, and metadata in the IC.
1+ years of experience with SharePoint 2013.
Experience with Microsoft Office products.
Knowledge of working with trouble tickets and change requests to coordinate resolution with submitters and content owners.
Ability to adapt a variety of technical tasks while working in a dynamic team environment and liaise between stakeholders, project managers, and a technical team to comprehend the client mission.
Ability to develop and maintain technical design artifacts and requirements documentation, conduct data gathering, research, and analysis, design and develop recommendations, and communicate through briefings and written documents.
BA or BS degree in related field

Preferred:

Experience with developing OOTB solutions for SharePoint 2016 or SharePoint Online.
Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, and REST.
Experience with CSS3 and master page configuration.
Experience with the Agile development methodology.
Experience with Microsoft Visio a plus.
Possession of excellent team-oriented, team building, presentation, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
