Job Description

Salary: $110,000 - 160,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, or a related discipline
• Preferred: Advanced Degree (Master’s/Ph.D.) in a quantitative field (Statistics, Math, Data Science, Engineering)
• 1-2+ years of experience in:
• - R, Python, Scala, or other languages suitable for large-scale numerical and textual data analysis
• - Data mining, machine learning, and statistical modeling tools, along with their underlying algorithms
• - Fundamentals of Data Lake and cloud computing
• Strong analytical aptitude and enthusiasm for applying advanced modeling techniques to problem-solving
• Proven analytical thinker with a history of delivering actionable insights and clear strategic direction
• Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts plainly, with demonstrated skills in written and oral presentations for all organizational levels
• Strong project management capabilities, adept at managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Experience with Recommender Systems, Search Algorithms, or operationalizing effective algorithms for website integration is advantageous

• Develop and refine algorithms to create personalized customer experiences
• Utilize a profound understanding of data science modeling techniques and statistical analysis, applying various technologies, open-source languages, and cloud platforms
• Implement model design, training, evaluation, and application
• Extract insights by analyzing extensive amounts of complex proprietary customer, website, and transaction data
• Identify, prioritize, and conceptualize testing opportunities that will guide algorithm improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Operations, Strategy, and Data Engineering to:
• - Invent new use cases for data-driven products
• - Design and execute tools that enhance Customer Experience, Associate Experience, and Marketing Acquisition strategies
• Engage with all levels of the organization to grasp business opportunities, elucidate models, narrate impactful data-driven stories, and influence change
• Work together with the team to provide high-quality analytics, share best practices, and support each other’s learning and growth
