Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and provide teletherapy services to K-12 students in a California school district for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while making a meaningful impact on students' communication development.
As a Virtual SLP, you will assess, treat, and support students with speech and language disorders, developing individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure that each student receives the best possible care. Your work will directly contribute to helping students improve their communication skills and achieve academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Virtual Speech Therapy: Deliver engaging and effective speech therapy services to K-12 students via a secure online platform.
Assess and Treat: Conduct speech assessments, develop customized treatment plans, and implement interventions to address a variety of speech and language disorders.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, student progress, and any changes to treatment plans.
Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, school staff, and parents to track student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
Utilize Digital Tools: Make use of a wide range of digital resources and tools to create interactive and engaging virtual lessons and exercises.
Stay Current: Keep up to date with the latest practices in teletherapy and speech-language pathology to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Active California state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred but not required.
Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is preferred.
Experience or comfort with teletherapy and online platforms is a plus.
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
Ability to engage students effectively using virtual tools and resources.
