SMV is seeking a Race Track Events Sales Rep for our client in the Syracuse, NY area. This role involves bringing in outside clients and scheduling events at the race track. The ideal candidate will have a background in event coordination and sales, with a passion for motorsports. Responsibilities:

• Identify and reach out to potential clients to generate new business opportunities and secure events
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to ensure successful event execution
• Assist in planning and coordinating all aspects of race track events, including scheduling, logistics, and on-site management
• Collaborate with internal teams to create and implement marketing strategies that promote events and attract new clients
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and vendors to ensure favorable terms and conditions
• Oversee event budgets, ensuring all events are executed within financial parameters
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols during events
• Analyze event performance and client feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
• 5+ years of experience in sales and client acquisition
• 1-2+ years of event coordination/management
• Proven track record of successfully securing new business and managing client relationships
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and persuade potential clients
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by event schedules
• Passion for motorsports and knowledge of the racing industry is a plus
