Job Description
Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for QA Tester in Menands, NY.
Description: The Tester will work closely with program staff, vendors, and other stakeholders to define requirements.
- Provide regular status updates to upper management on various projects and keep them apprised of risk, issues, and mitigation plans.
- Deliver oral and written communications to business owners, IT program team members, and management.
- Work on complex software in a fast-paced, high volume work environment.
- Perform software testing, as needed, including specifying test scenarios and test cases, executing tests, and analyzing and documenting defects in a defect management system.
- Perform quality assurance on notice templates, as needed.
- Data entry of Requests for Analysis into RTC.
Mandatory Qualification:
- Conducts automated and manual tests to ensure that the software created/upgraded performs as necessary and meets the user requirements.
- Develops and maintains user and technical documentation and project process documentation for application teams.
- Understands the view of applications and/or technology and is able to put procedures in a logical sequence.
- 36 months of experience working with the Affordable Care Act.
- 36 months of experience with Rational Team Concert (RTC).
- 36 months of experience performing quality assurance on and managing, reviewing, and validating reports.
- 36 months of experience performing quality assurance on documentation.
- Associate degree.
