Essential Functions:

• Ensuring equipment and area is in a clean and safe manner.
• Setting up pool hut and checking towels in/out.
• Maintain proper care, use and arrangement of all pool equipment.
• Assisting the Recreation Department in pool related activities.

Supportive Functions:

• Act in a courteous, helpful and efficient manner when dealing with guests and owners.
• Straighten and clean the pool areas on a daily basis and all pool hut storage areas as needed.
• Be knowledgeable of the pool and surrounding areas in order to convey information to the guests.

Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability:

• Enjoy working in an outside environment.
• Knowledge of outdoor activities/swimming required.
• Must be able to tolerate environmental conditions, sometimes extreme.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs, carry, reach, bend and twist.
• Must have a positive attitude.

Experience: Prior guest services or other hospitality experience is preferred. Other: Due to the seasonal and business nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules and hours to reflect the staffing needs of the hotel.
