Job Description

We’re seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to provide exceptional laboratory support and patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role is ideal for someone experienced in phlebotomy procedures and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and patient service.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow universal blood and body fluid precautions at all times.
  

• Perform venipuncture and skin puncture procedures with precision and care.
  

• Enter patient demographics, test requests, and results in the Laboratory Information System.
  

• Schedule and manage appointments as needed.
  

• Maintain accurate specimen and documentation records.
  

• Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff.
  

• Monitor supply needs and support evaluation of new or improved phlebotomy devices.
  

• Support additional administrative and patient intake functions as required.
  

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  

• Completion of a NAACLS-accredited or equivalent two-part Phlebotomy program is preferred. 
  

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Phlebotomy Technician after graduation.
  

• U.S. citizenship required.
  

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work in a clinical setting.
  

• MediClear or equivalent HIPAA credential required.
