IQVIA is seeking a highly motivated, results-focused sales specialist. You will be expected to deliver sales results by engaging with customers while demonstrating our corporate values of Client Focused, Results Driven, Teamwork, Flawless Execution, and Integrity.

The Professional Pharmaceutical Sales Representative will professionally and ethically create, maintain and expand sales in designated territory and provide continuing education and service to targeted physicians.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, marketing objectives, etc., in order to meet or exceed those objectives.
  • Create pre-call plans using SMART objectives and execute post-call evaluations to continuously improve sales performance. Effectively handle objections and consistently gain logical and reasonable calls to action to close on every sales call.
  • Proactively aspire to serve customer needs and challenges to build trusted customer relationships and achieve win-win agreements between AbbVie and customers.
  • Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities.
  • Continuously build understanding of customer needs, territory market landscape, competitors, and share this market intelligence with in-field team, brand team, and sales manager to optimize brand strategy and execution.
  • Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with assigned health providers and maintain relationships with disease state experts and speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance.
  • 25% travel required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business related field, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years business-to-business outside sales experience with a demonstrated record of impact required.
  • 5 years of Pharmaceutical Sales Experience with documented success preferred.

  • Proven track record of success in selling and solid presentation skills. Demonstrates in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge and is recognized as an expert resource by relevant stakeholders. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.

  • Offers innovative ideas and solutions to maximize business opportunities.
  • Influences others and is viewed as a credible and respected resource among peers.
  • Understands and leverages findings to develop sales strategies.
  • Takes ownership by resolving problems and considering implications on the larger organization.
  • Preferred: Proven track record of success in sales performance within respective therapeutic areas.

Compensation: The potential base pay range for this role is $80,000 - $115,000 annually, with variations based on job-related qualifications, location, and schedule. Incentive plans, bonuses, and benefits may also be offered.
