JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

This is a newly created opportunity as part of our rapid growth and expansion throughout Asia Pacific. Our team is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Payroll Manager to join our team in Singapore to manage and run the payroll across our Asia Pacific region.

The Payroll Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local tax and labour laws, optimizing payroll systems and processes, and partnering with HR and Finance to support business objectives. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with regional payroll operations, strong leadership skills, and a keen attention to detail.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for employees across multiple countries in the Asia Pacific region, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies in Singapore and other APAC locations.
  • Manage payroll tax filings, CPF contributions, social security payments, and benefits deductions.
  • Work closely with external payroll vendors to ensure smooth payroll operations and service quality.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure seamless payroll integration and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain and enhance payroll systems, ensuring efficiency, security, and data integrity.
  • Conduct payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Handle employee payroll inquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Stay updated on payroll regulations, industry trends, and best practices across the region.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated experience running end to end payroll.
  • Experience managing multi-country payroll operations in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore payroll regulations, CPF, tax laws, and statutory requirements.
  • Familiarity with regional payroll compliance in key APAC markets such as Australia, Japan, China, or Hong Kong is a plus.
  • Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP, CloudPay) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
