Join our team as a Part-Time Delivery Driver and become an essential part of bringing beautiful plants and landscaping materials to our clients and crews! This hands-on position offers variety, independence, and the satisfaction of playing a crucial role in our supply chain.

You'll be the vital link between our nurseries, job sites, and garden centers, ensuring plants and materials arrive in perfect condition and on schedule. Responsibilities and Duties

• Drive company box truck to deliver and pick up plants and materials at various locations
• Load and unload plants and materials safely and efficiently
• Verify order accuracy during pickup and delivery
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain required signatures
• Operate equipment including 35’ box truck, forklift, and pallet jack
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness
• Communicate effectively with nursery staff, foremen, and vendors
• Assist in nursery and plant yard operations when not making deliveries
• Support inventory counts and organization of plant materials

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
• 1-2 years experience in delivery driving with load/unload responsibilities
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of proper loading techniques to maximize space and ensure plant safety
• Strong attention to detail for inventory verification
• Basic plant identification knowledge helpful
• Excellent communication skills and professional customer interaction
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and priorities

Work Schedule and Environment

• Part-time, 2-3 days per week dependent on season
• Wednesdays and Thursdays required, optional third day Monday, Tuesday or Friday
• Early morning start times, variable end time depending on route and traffic conditions
• Start and finish your day at our headquarters in SE Portland

Benefits & Pay Range

• $20-23 per hour, dependent upon experience
