Job Title: Part-Time Caregiver for Mother & Daughter – Morton, PA

Location: Morton, PA 19070

Shifts Available: Saturday & Sunday, 12 PM – 4 PM

Pay Range: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Job Description:
Comfort Keepers is seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to assist a mother and daughter in their home. This role involves personal care, companionship, and light housekeeping to ensure both clients remain safe and comfortable.

Responsibilities:

• For Mother:

  • Standby assistance with ambulation (fall risk, no assistive devices required).
  • Encourage and assist with showering.
  • Standby assist with toileting, ensuring cleanliness and pull-up changes.
  • Provide companionship and dementia oversight (client may wander in the house).
  • Assist with meal prep, medication reminders, and grocery organization.
  • Light housekeeping, including laundry and changing bed linens.

• For Daughter:

  • Assist with transfers from bed to wheelchair/commode.
  • Provide personal care in bed (sponge bath, hair care, dressing, changing briefs).
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience in dementia care and personal care assistance.
• Must be comfortable assisting with toileting and incontinence care.
• Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, changing linens, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Clear verbal communication and ability to engage in companionship.
• Must be able to use and assist with a wheelchair and walker.

Work Environment:

• Private home in Morton, PA.
• Caregiver will be working closely with both mother and daughter, assisting with overlapping tasks.
