Job Description

Salary: $80,000 - 85,000 per year Requirements:

  • We are looking for a candidate who meets the following qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with less than 2 years of relevant experience (or an equivalent mix of education and experience).
  • Currently holds a DoD 8750 certification at IAT level II, Security+ CE, or an equivalent certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing VLAN, routing, IP addressing, and sub-netting.
  • Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls, F5 appliances, and Splunk systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and configuring IP networks using at least one of the following routing methods: BGP, ISIS, OSPF, or Static routing.
  • Experience with service provider or enterprise IP networks utilizing Cisco (ESR and ASR) and/or Juniper routers.
  • Knowledge of ports and protocols.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities:
  • As a Network Engineer, your primary duties will include:
  • Executing engineering activities related to the design, implementation, and integration of network modifications, as well as maintaining customer systems in a Wide Area Network setting.
  • Conducting planning and performing analytical research, design development, and associated tasks to meet customer requirements.
  • Managing network systems to assure 99% or better uptime and connectivity.
  • Ensuring the effective delivery of contracted capabilities using industry best practices and consistent processes.
  • Mitigating risks, managing costs and schedule variances, and overseeing large-scale, integrated projects effectively.
  • Performing a variety of analytical tasks that encompass hardware and software design and implementation.
