What You'll Do:
As a Medical Scribe, you will be responsible for real-time documentation of physician-patient interactions. Your role will involve:
Accurately transcribing medical information into electronic health records (EHR) during live or recorded patient visits.
Supporting healthcare providers by streamlining clinical documentation to enhance efficiency.
Observing and learning from patient interactions to gain valuable exposure to clinical workflows.
What We're Looking For:
✅ Minimum Age: 19 years old.
✅ Availability: Commit to at least 2-3 shifts per week (approximately 20 hours per week) for 1 year.
✅ Typing Speed: Minimum 60 words per minute for efficient documentation.
✅ Remote Work Setup: A quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office space with a noise-canceling headset and built-in microphone.
✅ Technical Requirements:
Reliable desktop or laptop with Windows 10/11 or macOS Catalina (or later), 8GB RAM minimum, and a 256GB SSD.
High-definition webcam for video calls and remote consultations.
Stable broadband internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps).
✅ Education & Experience:
College coursework in biology, anatomy, or medical terminology is preferred but not required.
Prior exposure to a clinical setting is a plus, but not mandatory.
✅ Key Traits: Self-motivated, eager to learn, customer-oriented, and adaptable.
Schedule & Work Hours:
Remote Clinic Opportunity: Weekday schedule, typically 8 AM - 5 PM (varies by department and site).
Some pre-shift note preparation may be required.
