gpac is partnered up with a respected provider of funeral and memorial services, dedicated to serving families with compassion and professionalism. They are currently seeking a Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer to join their team. Whether you are a seasoned professional or an apprentice, we welcome your passion for the industry and commitment to excellent service.
Job Responsibilities:
* Conduct arrangements conferences with families to assist them in making personalized funeral service decisions.
* Coordinate and direct funeral services, including visitations, ceremonies, and burials, ensuring all aspects meet the wishes of the family and comply with legal requirements.
* Perform embalming and preparation of deceased individuals for viewing and burial, adhering to health and safety standards.
* Provide support and guidance to families in grief, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to funeral arrangements and services.
* Collaborate with clergy, florists, cemeteries, and other service providers to coordinate logistics for funerals.
* Participate in on-call rotations for 4 days every week, ensuring availability to assist families during their time of need.
* No removals required, as we have a dedicated removal service.

Requirements:
* Valid state Funeral Director/Embalmer license.
* Apprentices are welcome; experience in the funeral service industry is a plus.
